About The Role:
The Senior Pre-Sales Specialist is an individual contributor. The function of this role is to follow a standard trial process across opportunities that are filed with the team. They are to work as a partner with institutional sales to help shorten the sales cycle and increase the team success rate. The focus of this role is trial work, trial documentation & trial qualification.
Their knowledge of user workflow and trial process is exceptional. Additionally, this role is expected to focus on team initiatives, with an additional focus on cross team collaboration. They will also serve as a mentor to new team members. This person will work across both existing and new clients across all client types (e.g. sell-side, buy-side, wealth).

What You'll Do:

  • Manage & own the trial process, trial documentation and confirm qualification for all assigned trials. Gain efficiency running trials, shorten trial cycle and fee up bandwidth for sales

  • Coordinate team meetings to focus on fiscal year team initiatives. Impact trial close rate by ensure that we are constantly learning about new products, evaluating wins/losses and practicing our skills

  • Work with principal team members and managers to initiate cross team product initiatives that will impact the trial cycle and user experience. The feedback we can provide to product teams is invaluable. The more feedback we give, the better the product, the easier it is for us to close business

  • Provide top level support to all trial users. Increase trial close rate, show new users the best FactSet has to offer

  • Communicate as necessary with internal sales/specialists as well as externally with clients. Ensures everyone internally is working together efficiently on every opportunity and makes sure that clients are up to date on trial next steps

  • Conduct training & mentoring of new team members

  • Ensure all new team members are comfortable in their new role and have a mentor to partner with on all opportunities—learn trial best practices.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years in a client facing role, preferably at FactSet and at least 3 years as a Pre Sales specialist or comparable role

  • Strong technical skills and deep FactSet product knowledge. Detail oriented and skilled at project management

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Leadership qualities—has the desire to mentor and set an example for others

  • Ability to interact effectively with other teams at FactSet

  • Singapore EP sponsorship is available for this role.
