We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented leader to join our team as a Lead, Finance Operation. You will be responsible to lead and manage a team of finance professionals, ensuring smooth and accurate financial operations, and driving ongoing improvement efforts to enhance performance.
Day to Day Activities
- Lead and inspire the finance operations team to consistently deliver outstanding performance through innovative thinking
- Manage all aspects of financial operations, encompassing expenses, payments, revenue, collections, and General Ledger activities
- Provide guidance to optimize processes such as supplier invoice processing, supplier payments, debt collection, collection reconciliation, and payment reconciliations.
- Prepare variance analysis reports during the month-end close process
- Providing support during internal and external audits with respect to operational expenses
- Review and approve payment requests from business partners, ensuring accuracy and completeness while proactively scrutinizing unusual requests to identify potential risks, cost-saving opportunities, or opportunities to unlock new revenue streams
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards to protect organizational integrity and mitigate risks
- Drive the transformation of the finance function to boost efficiency and financial performance
- Implement innovative technologies and process enhancements to optimize financial operations
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors, enhancing communication and collaboration
Who We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant work experience in accounting operations functions
- Proven track record at finance process transformation initiatives is an added advantage
- Proficient in using technical tools such as: Excel, Power BI, RPA, AI to drive efficiency at work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders
- Meticulous and detail-oriented with a strong sense of curiosity to gain knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process, and information flow
