Job Profile Summary:
As Lead in the Compliance & Risk Organisation (CRO) Office, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering strategic initiatives that strengthen compliance and enterprise risk management across the organisation. Reporting to the Head of CRO Office, you will collaborate with colleagues across the CRO division, as well as with various departments and Group functions, to drive transformation, automation, and robust risk oversight.
Job Description:
Transformation Leadership:
Drive divisional transformation programmes to deliver efficiency gains.
Support the design and implementation of new workflows aligned with regulatory requirements and Prudential policies.
Process Automation:
Identify and execute opportunities for automation
Manage transition plans, stakeholder communications and risk assessments
Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as central coordinator for divisional transformation.
Engage internal and external stakeholders to challenge existing processes, identify improvement opportunities, and build consensus on change initiatives.
Data & Technology Enablement:
Collaborate with Data Analytics and Technology teams to leverage digital tools and data-driven insights for process optimisation and automation.
Drive synergy across Compliance and Enterprise Risk Management’s technological, digital, and data capabilities.
Project & Initiative Management:
Manage and coordinate key CRO projects and strategic Group-wide initiatives.
Undertake ad-hoc tasks and reviews as directed by senior leadership.
Risk Oversight:
Guide risk register, incident reporting, process gap analysis, and validation checks on user-developed financial models.
Support annual scenario analysis and risk appetite testing.
Promote operational risk awareness within the organisation.
Management Reporting:
Prepare and deliver presentations to senior leadership and governance forums on transformation progress, milestones, and outcomes.
Divisional Coordination:
Oversee planning and execution of divisional events, budgeting cycles, and employee review exercises, ensuring transparency and compliance.
What We’re Looking For:
Competencies & Personal Traits:
Strong understanding of compliance and risk processes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Hands-on experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI).
Curious, innovative, and adaptable to fast-paced change.
Organised, meticulous, and able to inspire and drive change.
Experience:
8-10 years in risk, compliance, project management, IT, or analytics roles.
Proven track record in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
Experience in automation, process re-engineering, and offshoring.
Familiarity with AI/ML and hands-on experience with data and visualisation tools is a plus.
Qualifications:
Degree in any discipline.
Project Management certification and Power BI expertise advantageous.
