Title:
Lead Cost EngineerJob Responsibilities:
Monitor, forecast, control, and report project costs.
Develop and implement all routine cost reports, regularly review cost reports with budget holders to ensure understanding, update estimates, and discuss problem areas.
Support financial processes as required, including contract progress invoicing, payments, cash flows, etc.
Develop and provide project variances, trending, analysis of expenditures, and completion reports.
Review project costs incurred by category, calculate future costs based on labor productivity, material price increases, subcontract, wage rates, and risk analysis.
Implementation of New Tools to maintain and control portfolio of projects
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering Discipline or in Finance with an emphasis on projects budgeting and forecasting.
Minimum 10 years of cost management experience, with at least 5 years of lead cost experience within the Oil and Gas business.
Thorough knowledge of cost budgeting, monitoring, forecasting, and cost performance indicators.
Proactive and possess good interpersonal skills.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with ERP system
Ability to implement new cost tools to control portfolio of projects.
