Why this role is important to us  

SimCorp is seeking an experienced Lead Business Consultant to join our Technology Solutions team in APAC. This is a full-time role supporting our growing client base in the region, with opportunities to contribute to global projects. 

The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background complemented by solid financial services knowledge. You will execute implementation and client onboarding projects, with experience building stakeholder relationships across both internal and external teams. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with solid delivery credentials who can translate complex technical requirements into working solutions while collaborating with investment professionals and internal stakeholders

This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects within a growing organization, combining your technical expertise with business acumen to support our clients' needs. 

What you will be responsible for:  

• Execute implementation and client onboarding projects from design through delivery 
• Design and build out ETL processes to support client data integration and analytics delivery 
• Support the analytics integration strategy for SimcorpOne by implementing defined functionality 
• Participate in solution design engagements, translating business requirements into technical solutions 
• Coordinate with product, engineering, and operations teams to help clients reach better outcomes and success
• Work with sales and pre-sales teams to validate delivery timelines and identify functional gaps during scoping 
• Follow and contribute to process improvements that enhance delivery efficiency across the team 

What we value:  

Essential: 

• Degree in a quantitative or technical field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Econometrics, or related discipline 
• 3-5 years of experience delivering SaaS solutions, preferably in a similar role or industry 
• Working knowledge of finance 
• Solid technical background with practical programming experience in Python, Java, or C#
• Demonstrated ability to design and integrate solutions with REST APIs and web services
• Demonstrated skill in solving complex issues without supervision and communicating technical concepts clearly to users with varied experience
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English

Desirable: 

• Professional risk qualifications such as CFA, FRM, CAIA 
• Professional project management qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or relevant Agile certifications 
• Experience with granular and factor-based risk models 
• Solid financial services knowledge and domain expertise 
• Familiarity with frontier LLM technologies and applications
