The Director of LCMS Manufacturing is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and executing Agilent’s global operations in LCMS and Life Sciences business. This role drives the product line's P&L, delivery and quality responsibility.

As an operation lead of Agilent's major product line, the Director partners with executive leadership, solution teams, R&D, marketing and supply chain operations to define organizational priorities that accelerate growth whilst ensuring operational excellence and enabling future-proof Agilent’s manufacturing capabilities. This role combines deep expertise in manufacturing operations and digital transformation with strong business acumen to align financial goals.

The Director leads a team of manufacturing engineers, material engineers, production technicians and operators as well as operating managers, developing future leaders, and fostering a culture of innovation and customer centricity.

This role is both visionary and execution-focused: setting long-term strategy while ensuring near-term delivery.

Roles and Responsibility:

  • Define, own, and continuously refine the manufacturing strategy and roadmap for LCMS operations.

  • Influence enterprise product and technology direction to align with business growth goals.

  • Ensure financial (revenue, shipment & GM), delivery (CRDD, overdue no DB) and quality (DEFOA, AFR, Warranty and NCM) goals are met.

  • Translate business objectives into actionable programs that deliver measurable value.

  • Drive large-scale transformation initiatives, including 4IR deployment, CI (ASE), tariff mitigation and IBP.

  • Oversee Singapore's (3 major PL) supplier quality (NCM, TOR) and material cost savings initiatives. This includes Value Engineering, resourcing and also negotiations.

  • Balance innovation with risk management and compliance considerations.

  • Mentor and develop future leaders, fostering technical depth and leadership excellence.

  • Promote a culture of collaboration, agility, and continuous improvement across sites.

  • Champion diversity, inclusion, and professional growth opportunities within the team.

  • Serve as senior digital advisor to executives, site leaders, and business unit stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with R&D, Supply Chain team, Logistic, Marketing and Business Units to deliver operational goals and integrated solutions.

  • Act as executive escalation points for strategic projects, ensuring successful delivery.

  • Represent Agilent’s manufacturing leadership team externally with partners, vendors, and industry forums.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Management or equivalent.

  • More than 10 years' experience in a leadership role in Manufacturing Operations.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience formally or informally in complex instrument manufacturing, leading people, projects and/or programs.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to lead/manage multiple initiatives.

  • Hands on experience with tools and techniques for Lean Manufacturing/CI, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
