In this role you will have an impact by:

  • Manage strategic/key account, i.e. team up with relevant stakeholders to optimize outcome of accounts

  • Drive overall strategic direction of accounts and ensure preparation of and challenge to AB, FF etc.

  • Identify market, customer trends and competitor activities relevant to achieving sales targets and shaping of the future of the industry

  • Ensure proper allocation of TS, local account management resources (wherever applicable)

  • Establish and develop relationships with key decision makers. Develop multi-layer sales and technical relationships within account and develop/maintain power map to understand decision power distribution

  • Drive commercial best practice including opportunity management, pipeline building, account planning and value selling

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain to drive alignment between forecast and demand plan

In this position you need to:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Key Account management role

  • Strong techno-commercial background and science graduate e.g. Chemical Engineering with MBA as an added advantage

  • Experience in either Oleochemical/Palm/Biodiesel, EPC in Biodiesel/vegetable oil downstream or life sciences industry.
