Position Summary

The incumbent will be responsible for the achievement of Sales, quality distribution, in-store excellence and operational efficiency of the account / channel assigned, within Singapore's AV/TV market.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving sales targets, through establishing and building long-term relationship with trade customers based on good account management, mutual trust and integrity.
  • Work with our customers’ key decision makers to grow business – through building winning partnership, strong account penetration, conceptual selling, as well as understanding and handling their objections.
  • Lead joint business planning with account / channels to identify new business opportunities, achieve strong product distribution, deliver superior in-store presence, build effective merchandising plans for Samsung Brands and providing excellent service follow-up.
  • Lead review of the joint business plans regularly with customers to identify gaps in performance targets and aligns on adjustment plans, as well as develop action plans to address gaps to performance.
  • Drive product penetration, sell-in and implementation of Samsung Brand initiatives in the account / channel especially in new product launches with speed and excellence.
  • Lead the quality planning and execution of promotional campaigns and activities to improve sales
  • Manage and optimize trade budget/funds to drive business growth in key accounts, to ensure good return on investment Manage Aging Stocks Inventory and Inventory Control
  • Ensure Account Receivables are collected on time
  • Managing the Purchase Plan and Sales Forecast accurately

Skills and Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma but ideally a Degree (in any field), with at least 6 years of sales experience, in consumer electronics preferred
  • Successful sales track records as well as strong key account management
  • Excellent in cognitive thought and problem solving
  • Creative and innovative
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to multi-task and possess good project management and presentation skills.
