JOB DESCRIPTION

Keppel is a leading global asset manager and operator with strong capabilities in energy & environment, urban development and connectivity, creating solutions for a sustainable future.

This role sits within the Infrastructure Division which offers exposure to one or more of the following: industrial safety awareness, attachment to our operating commercial plant(s), and selected commercial functions to appreciate the value chains of our businesses in renewables, clean energy, decarbonisation and environmental infrastructure. This role will also be involved in our application-driven innovation and digitalisation initiatives and programmes.

You will be responsible for the following:
• Study the basic planning knowledge.
• Read through the project scope of work and project master schedule (Baseline & Working Programme) to understand the WTE project process.
• Assist Project Planning Lead on daily, weekly & monthly project progress report related admin tasks.
• Attend the project planning meeting and assist with minutes of meeting preparation.
• Attend the project construction meeting with varies sub-contractors and feedback the issues related to planning

Learning Outcomes:
• Gain a deeper understanding of contractual concepts and terminology through their work on contracts research, writing, and analysis.
• Gain practical experience in contracts administration, and claims management, which can be valuable when seeking future employment opportunities.
• Obtain the basic Project Planning concept.
• Familiarize with the Waste-To-Energy (WTE) Project Process.
• Obtain the basic knowledge of construction requirements and interphases between stakeholders. during project execution.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Job Requirements:
• Undergraduate pursuing a Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficient in MS Office Software.
• Meticulous with good communication and writing skills.
• Applicant shall note that this is a male-dominated work environment.
• Comfortable with working in a site office environment.
