Job Description

Position Summary:


Overall responsibility for creating and improving supply chains across our client's organization, a world leading first tier automotive supplier. Contributes ideas to establish  and deploy standard excellence system for optimum supply chains that meet the needs of the customer, i.e the automotive manufacturers.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Deploy Corporate Supply Chain Excellence standard framework within the factories of the group
  • Identifies areas in the organization where supply chain improvements are needed
  • Leads the supply chain team to improve the supply chain including but not limited to: forecast, fulfillment, inventory, scheduling, supply / demand planning, distriburtion, logistics
  • Leads Supply Chain Review meetings to gain appropriate approvals from sponsors
  • Support operational teams to adopt new best practices
  • Establish and maintain key performance indicators to measure progress toward strategic goals

Qualifications

Education:

  • A four-year college degree is required, preferably in supply chain or operations management.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2-4 years experience in Supply Chain along with manufacturing operations knowledge.
  • Project management / consulting experience in Automotive industry is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong problem solving.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Good understanding of production planning, distribution and logistics
  • Possess the ability to interact with a variety of diverse people in a complex environment.
