Job Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented IT Business Analyst in e-commerce to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting e-commerce projects by gathering and analyzing requirements, collaborating with technical teams, and ensuring the successful implementation of e-commerce solutions. You will also provide application support, ensure system stability, and contribute to UI/UX enhancements for our e-commerce platforms. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to managing tasks and responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities:

1. E-commerce Projects and Change Requests

  • Actively participate in E-commerce related change requests and projects
  • Assist in gathering and analyzing end-user requirements to ensure alignment with business needs
  • Work with project stakeholders to perform system analysis, design, troubleshooting, and testing
  • Manage and track the overall development work and schedule
  • Monitor change request/project status and prepare project status report for the IT project team lead

2. Application Support and Maintenance

  • Provide application support in post-implementation and maintenance support for existing systems
  • Provide application support after implementation to ensure system stability and resolve user issues
  • Assist in the maintenance and support of existing e-commerce systems and their integration with customer engagement and marketing messaging systems, and data platforms

3. UI/UX

  • Responsible for the design of the appearance and performance of pages on Ecommerce websites, including UX and UI, functionalities, maintenance, housekeeping, and developments
  • Work directly with designers and project managers for the implementation of designs
  • Work with backend developers for integration between frontend and backend systems
  • Write reusable and efficient code
  • Assist/support in the development and maintenance of marketing content
  • Ensure websites are cross-browser compatible
  • Provide input on design and technical issues
  • Assist with various duties related to the project and tasks assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Knowledge of E-commerce application development is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret requirements
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience in CMS systems like ContentStack, Salesforce CMS, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, etc
  • Experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, AJAX, XML, and cross-browser techniques
  • Experience in Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, or other prototyping tools
  • Familiar with working with APIs in application development
  • Familiar with Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Deep understanding and experience with web and internet standards
  • Working knowledge of image optimization and SEO is advantageous
