HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:  

In this role, you will be a pivotal contributor to the Jewellery category across Singapore, ASEAN and Malaysia (SAM) markets, playing a crucial role in driving growth and strategic initiatives. Reporting directly to the Associate Director MCC, you will act as a guardian of the category, proactively pilot its performance by transforming in-depth analysis into concrete, cross-functional market action plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product Marketing & Merchandising Strategy

  • Lead and implement the yearly jewellery action plan for SAM markets, in line with global, regional directions, as well as local business needs.
  • Own the management of quarterly sales projections, in close partnership with the SAM Commercial team, to ensure robust forecasting and strategic alignment with financial cycles.
  • Animate and advocate for the category, in close collaboration with Regional Marketing & Merchandising function.
  • Conduct key Merchandising projects, including assortment review, in close collaboration with Operation and Regional teams.
  • Drive product knowledge and engagement by developing communication tools and training initiatives that strengthen boutiques’ expertise across novelties and key Jewellery collections.

Novelties Management

  • Lead 360 plan around launches in collaboration with all relevant departments.
  • Determine product forecast, launch strategy, network allocation and clustering in close collaboration with Region, based on Merchandising guidelines and local specificities. 
  • Collaborate with Communications & Client team to maximize exposure for new launches. 
  • Lead the partnership with the Learning and Development team in developing robust training plans, ensuring consistently high standard of product and brand knowledge across markets.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Share visibility on performance (In range/Novelties) with respective stakeholders with the intent to infuse a performance mindset and activate concrete actions across departments.
  • Present comprehensive monthly reports to regional teams, synthesizing quantitative data with qualitative insights on In Range and Novelties performance, to facilitate strategic discussions/decisions.

Market Insights & Competitive Intelligence

  • Conduct in-depth market analysis, encompassing competitive landscape monitoring, market share trends, and qualitative feedback from boutiques on product performance and client demand, to pinpoint key growth opportunities as well as to share insights into the regional team for future strategic planning.
  • Serve as key point of contact for all Jewellery-related inquiries and requests from boutiques and cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless support to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Organize and facilitate regular business review meetings with boutique category owners to identify opportunities and address performance gaps.
  • Continuously monitor the competitive landscape, analyze market share trends, visit competition regularly, update market shares, gather client insights to identify key opportunities for growth.
  • Gather and analyze qualitative feedback from boutiques on product performance and/or client demand, identify key opportunities for growth and share key findings to the regional team.

Operational Product Management

  • Build and maintain marketing tools (Product News, Launch Plan, Mapping Book, etc.) for daily business needs and special events.
  • Communicate all price updates to the internal stakeholders. 

KEY COMPETENCIES:

  • 6- 8 years of experience in Marketing, Merchandising, or Category Management
  • Experience within luxury or premium retail is a significant advantage
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to go from descriptive analysis to corrective action plans
  • Analytically minded, with ability to connect analytical findings to business context and strategic implications.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and hands-on experience with dashboards. Proficiency in Looker is an added advantage.
  • Strategic thinking, with capacity to manage complexity and multiple stakeholders
  • Proven experience in project management, able to work across functions and comfortable navigating a matrix environment.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written) and able to present with clarity and confidence
  • Exhibit a strong collaborative spirit, with a profound passion for the category
  • Detail-oriented, autonomous and proactive
