Description

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Big Data technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, cloud computing, and data engineering to help us build and maintain scalable, high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications with a focus on performance and scalability.
  • Utilize GCP services (such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub) for developing and deploying applications.
  • Implement and manage big data processing solutions using technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write efficient, testable, and reusable code following best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
  • Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of applications and data.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to bring innovative solutions to the team.
  • Ensure the security and performance of applications, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from conception through deployment and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional Java development experience.
  • Cloud Computing: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Big Data: Proficiency with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and experience with data processing pipelines.
  • Programming: Strong proficiency in Java; familiarity with other programming languages like Python is a plus.
  • Database Management: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Tools & Frameworks: Familiarity with tools like Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Git, and frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
