Monitor automated scheduler (Control-M), servers, networks and applications; run manual batch jobs; manage backup/tape media and catalog; monitor data centre CCTV and security; provide after-hours helpdesk; manage split passwords, electronic key systems and release tasks using Aldon LMI/LME; escalate alerts to relevant support and IT Operations Manager.
- Monitoring of automated task/job scheduler via Control M
- Run manual batch jobs according to batch job run schedule prepared by Applications Team / Operations Manager, or ad hoc requested by business and operations users based on documented process
- Backup media handling which include mounting and retrieving from media library, sending and receiving backup media to and from offsite storage
- Maintain catalog of backup media in CIMB SG Data Centre
- Monitoring of Data Centre CCTV and escalating any unauthorized entry of suspicious activity to IT Operation Manager
- Monitoring of servers, network and application availability through monitoring tools, Ops Manager and Apps Manager and escalate to relevant support for any system alert detected
- Monitor for any email alert and escalate to relevant support
- Ensure security and safety issues of a Data Centre and escalate to IT Operations Manager for any breach of security
- Provide after office hours and non-working day helpdesk support
- Provide split password management services
- Manage electronic Keypress system and CCTC system
- Carry out the release management task using Aldon LMI/LME
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in IT or relevant certification
- Minimum 2-3 years working experience in Data Centre operation or application jobs processing
- IT Operations and Data Centre processes
- IT system alert monitoring & escalation, batch job handling, tape management
