In your role as an IT Analyst within the AP regional IT Team, you play a crucial part in the Business Technology Management organization by ensuring efficient IT Partnership and uninterrupted IT Support for Rockwell Automation users in Asia Pacific.  Your responsibilities involve bridging the gap between Global IT Capability Teams (such as SAP, EUX, Network, or Cloud/Hosting) and the Departments, helping them meet the evolving demands of the business in the AP region. Being the representative of IT, you serve as a trusted IT partner for AP's primary business domains and countries.

In your daily role, you show proficiency in analysing and resolving business issues. You collaborate with both internal and external IT service providers, while supporting ITIL processes such as INC (incident management), CHM (change management), and PRB (problem management). Your responsibilities include overseeing regional IT communication with multiple departments, sharing information, and looking for input. Additionally, you help contribute and propose IT solutions that align with the Strategic IT Roadmap. Furthermore, you engage with partners ranging from local users to senior group leaders within the departments, and the respective IT support teams, to ensure the seamless execution of IT projects in the region.

You will report to a Technical Leader based in Singapore.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will be an IT partner for IT capability teams and regional businesses.
  • Coordinate and administer end-to-end regional IT communication channels.
  • Work with partners to understand and document department (BU) requirements.
  • Support IT project rollouts in the Asia Pacific (AP) region.
  • You will help resolve existing incidents and support troubleshooting problems according to agreed processes and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • You will support or coordinate IT operation maintenance and excellence for AP sites.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor in computer science or related experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of related work experience in a global company (preferably in the IT or Engineering department).
  • Based in Singapore.
  • Experience with IT and Engineering operations.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure fundamentals (hardware, data center, network).
  • Familiarity with the O365 suite (SharePoint, OneDrive, MS Teams, OneNote, Power BI, etc.).

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • You are good with open communications.
  • You have a troubleshooting mindset.
  • You are adaptable to change.

What We Offer:

  • Health Insurance including comprehensive In-patient coverage along with Top-up plans for voluntary coverage upgrade.
  • Out-Patient benefits including clinical consultation, prescribed medication, telemedicine, health screening, dental & vision.
  • Life and Accident Protection – covering death and disability due to natural cause, illness, and accident.
  • Hybrid & flexible work options.
  • At Rockwell Automation we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.
