Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and financially literate Investment Communications Manager to support the creation, editing and translation of investment content across UOB Private Bank's client, advisor and digital channels.

The successful candidate will work closely with investment teams to translate market views into clear, engaging and compliant communications. A key requirement is the ability to write and translate investment content in both English and Mandarin. The role will also support the Bank's GenAI-powered Digital Advisory initiatives, helping to develop and govern content used across automated client journeys and digital investment platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Editing

  • Edit and proofread market commentaries, CIO publications, investment updates and client communications.

  • Translate complex investment concepts into clear, client-friendly language.

  • Ensure content is accurate, consistent and aligned with house views.

  • Fact-check financial data, performance figures and market information.

Bilingual Content Development

  • Translate investment content between English and Mandarin.

  • Adapt content appropriately for Mandarin-speaking clients while preserving the original investment message.

  • Review Mandarin-language materials for accuracy, consistency and quality.

Digital Advisory & GenAI

  • Support content development for the Bank's Digital Advisory and GenAI initiatives.

  • Assist in creating and maintaining content templates, style guides and approved language for automated client communications.

  • Review AI-generated content to ensure accuracy, consistency, compliance and alignment with CIO views.

  • Partner with business and technology teams to improve client-facing content experiences across digital platforms.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with CIO, Investment Strategy, Product, Marketing, Compliance and Legal teams.

  • Support content reviews, approvals and publication timelines.

  • Develop market summaries, talking points and client-ready materials for Relationship Managers.

Content Governance

  • Maintain editorial standards, content templates and style guidelines.

  • Ensure content complies with regulatory and brand requirements.

  • Support quality control processes for both human-created and AI-assisted content.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Communications, Journalism or a related field.

  • 3–6 years of experience in investment communications, financial journalism, asset management, wealth management or private banking.

  • Strong understanding of financial markets and investment concepts.

  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Language Requirements

  • Professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin.

  • Proven experience writing, editing and translating financial or investment content between the two languages.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in private banking, wealth management or asset management.

  • Familiarity with GenAI tools, digital advisory platforms or content management systems.

  • Experience creating presentations, infographics or other client-facing communication materials.

  • Interest in the application of AI and technology within investment communications.

Ideal Candidate

A strong bilingual communicator with a passion for financial markets, who can simplify complex investment topics and deliver accurate, engaging and client-focused content across both English and Mandarin channels. The candidate should be comfortable working at the intersection of investments, content and emerging AI-powered advisory solutions.
