What you do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Invoice Verification & Processing: Verify the accuracy of invoices, processing them in accordance with OCBC’s financial policies and procedures using Oracle Cloud – gaining practical experience with a leading enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
  • Discrepancy Reconciliation: Investigate and reconcile any discrepancies in invoices, working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Generate reports on invoice processing activities, providing valuable insights into key financial metrics.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives, contributing your ideas to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of our invoice processing operations.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Procurement, Operations, IT) and external vendors to address inquiries and resolve issues related to invoices.
  • Financial Integrity Support: Provide essential support to the invoice processing team, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices in compliance with financial regulations.

Financial Control within Group Operations & Technology is a critical function responsible for safeguarding OCBC’s financial assets and ensuring the accuracy of our financial reporting. You’ll work alongside a team of experienced accounting professionals, learning from their expertise and contributing to a collaborative environment.

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Currently pursuing studies in Accounting or a related field.
