As an Emissions Trading Intern, you’ll be at the forefront of a rapidly evolving market, contributing to our understanding of carbon credit dynamics and supporting our clients' sustainability goals. You’ll gain valuable experience in data analysis, market research, and regulatory monitoring, all while working within a dynamic and impactful team.

How you succeed To excel in this role, you’ll need to be a quick learner with a strong analytical mindset and meticulous attention to detail. You’ll thrive by proactively seeking information, independently managing tasks, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our data and analytical processes. Your curiosity and ability to identify trends will be essential for success.

What you do Your responsibilities will include:

  • Tracking new methodologies published by Verra, Gold Standard, and other major registries.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive database of historical retirement data, analyzing demand trends by company, volume, and vintage.
  • Maintaining a weekly updated worksheet of projects and ratings with live pricing data.
  • Tracking historical and new issuances from carbon credit projects.
  • Incorporating regulatory reforms and updates into our analytical models.
  • Monitoring country-wise developments in the voluntary carbon credit market and forecasting demand.
  • Running correlations between paper and physical market prices.

Who you are

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree.
  • Possess excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Are proactive, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Have a keen interest in sustainability and the carbon markets.
