The Singapore Operations team oversees, shapes and grows the business in Grab Singapore.
We contribute to Grab's vision by developing business strategies that serves our community.
Get to Know the Role
This partnership role sits within the Strategy & Partnership functional team. The Partnerships team is responsible for planning and closing high impact deals and partnerships, spanning across all the services in Singapore (e.g. GrabFood, GrabCar, GrabMart, etc). You will be fully onsite (One-North Grab HQ), your internship will run from May to December (Full Time).
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will Identify partnership opportunities, create compelling business cases, and support end-to-end deal management, including pitching, negotiations, and execution.
- You will manage relationships with partners at mid to senior levels of large corporate institutions.
- You will collaborate with teams (marketing, product, customer experience, operations) to ensure seamless execution of partnerships.
- You will prepare success metrics reports by collecting and analysing partnership data.
- You will respond to customer enquiries and provide invoicing support for the team.
What You Will Learn
- Develop and manage partnerships: Learn strategies to establish and sustain business partnerships tailored to various industry contexts
- Enhance negotiation skills: Sharpen negotiation and communication skills to present ideas, identify stakeholders' needs and achieve win-win outcomes
- Develop partnership agreements: Identify viable partnership prospects, formalize agreements and structure commercial terms
- Analyze data for decisions: Develop ability to analyse data for informed decision-making in negotiations
- Master critical thinking skills: Cultivate a solutions-oriented mindset to adapt strategies to overcome partnership challenges
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Analyse data into actionable insights.
- Project management skills with good prioritisation capabilities.
- Express ideas in writing and verbally, and can foster positive interactions with team members, and negotiate with partners.
- Undergraduate in Business or other relevant courses
