Over 90 days, you will architect the systems, processes and asset management that enable us to execute account-based marketing with precision. You will create order from chaos and build a marketing and communications function that operates like a well-oiled machine we need to drive growth. By the end of your placement, you would have contributed to improvements in marketing systems and processes, a brand centre and internal culture shift.

 

Responsibilities 

 

You will have a hand in building: 

  • Marketing Operations foundation (50% of role) 

  • Observe and help refine our marketing workflow from brief to concept to campaign execution to measurement 

  • Design and document standardised processes for campaign planning, approval, launch and analysis 

  • Create templates and checklists that ensure consistency and speed across all marketing activities 

  • Build a marketing calendar system that gives visibility across demand generation, content, events and ABM activities 

  • Establish tracking mechanisms to measure what’s working and what’s draining resources 

  • Audit our CRM setup against B2B best practices for account-based marketing – no leads should fall through cracks 

  • Ensure lead scoring, account hierarchies, and contact data structures support enterprise sales cycles 

  • Document data governance – what gets captured, how it flows and who owns what 

  • Review and ensure tagging of content downloads, demo requests, page engagement by target account, campaign attribution 

  • Build dashboards showing pipeline contribution and reporting templates to guide decision 

  • Brand Centre and Media Library (30% of role) 

  • Identify gaps in our content library for different buying stages and personas 

  • Organise materials by campaign, product line, audience, format, usage rights 

  • Create clear naming conventions and folder structures that scale as we grow 

  • Build version control processes so teams always use current materials 

  • Establish asset retirement protocols – archive outdated materials before they cause confusion 

  • SharePoint (20% of role) 

  • Configure SharePoint Homepage as the single source of truth for internal communications 

  • Establish cadence for updates and how team stays aligned and wins are reported 

  • Configure SharePoint Marketing and Communications site and improve user experience 

 

Desirable Attributes, Skills and Qualifications 

 

  • Currently enrolled in marketing, business, communications, information systems or related disciplines 

  • A systems thinker – you naturally see how pieces connect and where processes break 

  • Obsession with organisation  you enjoy building frameworks and documentation 

  • Comfortable with technology, digital tools, able and eager to learn new platforms quickly 

  • Strong project management with strong written communication skills to make complex processes clear and compelling for others to follow 

  • Collaborative self-starter who can identify problems before they are assigned to you 

  • Exposure to B2B marketing concepts 

  • Prior exposure to SharePoint, digital asset management or CRM systems would be a plus
