Project Scope:
- Work on developing and deploying autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) within the warehouse environment, including testing, deployment, and the development of new features and algorithms.
- Work on the design and testing of hardware components for Vertical Lift Modules (VLMs) and contribute to process improvements.
- Collaborate on integrating Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) with SAP, including logic development, algorithm creation, testing, deployment, and process enhancements.
- Work in creating and maintaining digital twin models for warehouse operations, focusing on simulation, algorithms, logic, process improvements, right-sizing, resource planning, and forecasting.
- Document processes, findings, and project outcomes for future reference.
- Contribute to research and development projects focused on enhancing warehouse automation.
- Provide training and support to warehouse staff on the use of AMRs, VLMs, WMS, and digital twins.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all automation projects.
Project Requirements/Selection Criteria:
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
- Experience with data analytics and visualization tools.
- Knowledge of robotics software and tools (e.g., ROS, Gazebo).
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and their integration with SAP.
- Understanding of digital twin technology and its applications in warehouse operations.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data to drive practical improvements.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and effective team collaboration.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Adaptability: The ability to learn new technologies and adjust to evolving project requirements.
- Preferred Knowledge: Understanding of robotics, warehouse operations, logistics, and manufacturing.
