Description:

In this project, the student will work with a Senior Data Scientist to design and develop a Machine Learning model to use data from earlier test steps to improve the Manufacturing Process in our manufacturing facility. You will work like a Data Scientist, employ techniques and theories drawn from areas of mathematics, statistics, and information technology and Semiconductor to uncover patterns in data from which predictive models, and solutions can be developed

Scope:

The student will be assigned to and work with a Senior Data Scientist throughout the internship to learn the Micron Manufacturing flow and understand how our products are manufactured. The student will also learn the method and tools used to develop a machine learning model and working with the domain experts to implement the model.

Deliverable:

Expectation is for the student to develop a fully functional model with good accuracy. 

Skillset Require:

• Strong software development skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Machine learning and other advanced analytical methods.
• Fluency in Python.
