What you will do:

The Data Operations Intern is responsible for supporting the data management operations for JCH Global Logistics and Supply Chain (GLSC) Organization. The intern will also participate in data readiness efforts to prepare the data requirements for construction & maintenance of data analytics platforms and tools. The intern will coordinate with team members from the global organization to ensure consistency of data inputs and data pipeline workflows. The intern will have exposure to enterprise ERP systems and technology and learn about supply chain workflows and fundamentals of data science including the real life working business concepts of dataset relationships during the course of the internship.  

How you will do it:

  • Support the data analytics team in delivering of project initiative and maintenance of existing system tools

  • Analyze data handling workflows and make suggestions on improvement ideas for robotic process automation opportunities

  • To assist on the data governance audit in ERP systems

  • To prepare and compile working data files in preparation of ingestion to analytical systems

  • To assist in extraction and downloading of data from entreprise systems and analytical platforms for further analysis

  • To assist in construction of reports and dashboards for business performance monitoring

  • To assist in documentation of data management governance and processes

What we look for:

  • Pursuing a degree or diploma from a reputable educational institution in any discipline.

  • Able to commit to a full-time internship for 6 months preferred.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to carry out repetitive tasks with minimal error.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate key findings and business concepts to a senior audience.

  • Responsible with a professional attitude and pleasant personality to interact with others

  • Strong desire to learn about entreprise systems, data management and data analytics skills
