The intern will translate quantitative insights into executive communications while developing skills in business development, pipeline management, lead generation, stakeholder engagement, and data storytelling.
Job Description
- Interactive Dashboard Development & Visualisation: Design, build, and maintain live interactive dashboards using corporate tools (e.g., Power BI) to track PON performance, pipeline metrics, and operational KPIs.
- Business Development & Deal Sourcing: Work directly with the PON team to conduct market mapping, research target sectors, identify prospective strategic partners, and actively source new business opportunities.
- Market Research & Pitch Support: Translate quantitative data and industry insights into actionable pitch decks, partner briefs, and strategic business proposals.
Learning Outcomes & Objectives
- End-to-End Visual Analytics: Gain hands-on experience in data extraction, data cleaning, and structuring clear executive dashboards for decision-making.
- Business Development Sourcing: Build foundational knowledge in deal pipeline management, lead generation strategies, market research, and partnership outreach within the PON space.
- Executive Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Develop high-level presentation and storytelling skills by presenting data-driven insights and partnership proposals directly to team leads and business stakeholders.
Prerequisites / Skills Required
- Advanced Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables, Power Query)
- BI Tool familiarity (Microsoft Power BI)
- Basic knowledge of AI productivity software (especially the Google suite) is a plus
- Familiarity with CRM or inventory management software
- Strong research capabilities and curiosity for market trends
- Proactive mindset for lead sourcing and opportunity identification
- Interest in business expansion and partnership growth for the PON team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to translate raw numbers into compelling narratives
- High attention to detail, self-motivation, and collaborative spirit
Education
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics or a related discipline.
Additional Information / Requirements
- Student Status: Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at a recognized Institute of Higher Learning (IHL) in Singapore.
- Credit-Bearing & Graduation Requirement: The internship must be a compulsory, credit-bearing component of your academic program required for graduation.
- Duration & Availability: Able to commit to a full-time internship for a minimum period of 16 consecutive weeks.
