Job Summary

Through Marina Bay Sands’ award-winning community engagement programme, Sands Cares, the integrated resort uses its unique property offerings, philanthropic funding, as well as active team member volunteerism to help meet Singapore’s social needs.

As a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) intern, you will support the planning and execution of internal and external community events, and assist with other day-to-day functions within the Communications Team. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of dynamic volunteering events and special projects for various social causes under Sands Cares.

  • Develop strategic communication assets for internal and external stakeholders (e.g. newsletters and social media) to extend Marina Bay Sands’ position as an industry leader in social responsibility.

  • Day-to-day work includes assisting the team with coordinating Team Member volunteering activities, volunteer data consolidation and reporting; liaising with community partners and internal stakeholders.

  • Support and lend ideas to unique opportunities such as celebrity guest visits to engage beneficiaries in meaningful dialogue and sharing sessions

Job Requirements

Education & Certification

  • Applicant must be a full-time matriculated student

  • Internship must contribute to school graduation requirements

Experience

  • No experience required as training will be provided

Other Prerequisites

  • Passion for giving back to the community

  • Eye for detail and strong event management skills

  • A strong command of written and spoken English and at least one other language

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and WordPosses excellent oral and written communication
