Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Sales team in Marsh Risk. This role will be based in our Asia Square Tower 1, Singapore office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Intern - Business Development
 

Get practical exposure to sales activities, market research and client-facing work while learning from experienced colleagues.

We will count on you to:

  • Conduct market and client research to identify opportunities, trends and insights that support business development.

  • Present research highlights to the team, capture meeting notes and follow up on agreed actions.

  • Support pipeline tracking, basic forecasting and regular reporting to keep the team organised and decisions well informed.

  • Sit in on and actively support sales meetings and presentations led by senior colleagues.

  • Help prepare proposals, pitch materials and client communications that are clear, professional and client-focused.

  • Draft short due diligence notes, slide decks and simple financial and qualitative analyses to inform client work.

  • Coordinate with marketing and product teams on campaign and sales-support activities to ensure consistent messaging and smooth delivery.

  • Proactively seek mentorship, use learning resources, and take part in professional-development opportunities to grow your skills and network.

  • Contribute to a vibrant, inclusive team culture by collaborating respectfully with colleagues and bringing a solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Represent Marsh’s standards for quality and client impact, and help drive outcomes that benefit colleagues, clients and communities.

    What you need to have:

    • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree such as Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Data Analytics or related.

    • Curious, eager to learn, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

    • Strong research, analytical and written communication skills.

    • Proficient with Excel; familiarity with PowerPoint and basic data tools.

    • Prior internship or part-time experience in sales, market research or client service is preferred but not required
