Project Title
Equipment Performance Analytics and Process Understanding for Assembly Operations
Project Description
This project focuses on understanding assembly wirebond equipment performance through data analysis and structured learning of manufacturing processes.
The intern will gain exposure to equipment engineering fundamentals, including machine setup, conversion, and qualification concepts within a semiconductor manufacturing environment. Through this project, the intern will analyze equipment data to identify trends, evaluate performance characteristics, and explore opportunities for reliability improvement.
The project aims to combine hands-on learning with data-driven insights to strengthen understanding of equipment behavior and manufacturing processes.
Objective of the Project
  • Develop understanding of assembly equipment operations and wirebond processes
  • Learn key concepts of equipment setup, conversion, and qualification workflows
  • Build capability in equipment data analysis and performance trending
  • Gain exposure to reliability concepts and continuous improvement practices

Project Scope
  • Analyze equipment performance data to identify patterns, variation, and trends
  • Explore key parameters affecting equipment stability and output quality
  • Study equipment workflow including setup and qualification through guided learning exposure
  • Develop methods to track and visualize equipment performance metrics
  • Apply basic data analysis techniques to evaluate equipment reliability
