Role Profile
As an Intern in the Accounts Receivable team at London Stock Exchange Group, you will gain hands-on experience in core finance operations, particularly around invoicing, contract tracking, and revenue assurance. Key Responsibilities

Under guidance and supervision, the intern will:

  • Assist in the setup and invoicing of new business contracts.
  • Help monitor the inter-sales inbox and log contract stages to support billing calculations.
  • Track contract progress between sales, legal, and customers.
  • Support the completion of new business contract checklists.
  • Help prepare credit notes and re-bills, and assist in distributing billing documents.
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests from the Finance Team and business units.
  • Assist in preparing month-end revenue accruals.
  • Support debt tracking and provide updates on credits and re-bills.
  • Participate in revenue assurance activities and reporting.
  • Help respond to internal and external audit queries.
  • Provide support to finance teams during high-volume or complex resolution periods.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Engage in cross-functional learning and team collaboration.
  • Assist in system testing and upgrades related to billing processes.

Candidate Profile

The ideal intern should:

  • Be pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles.
  • Show eagerness to learn and contribute in a collaborative environment.
  • Have good time management and organizational skills.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
  • Be detail-oriented and accurate in work.
  • Be open to learning financial systems (e.g., Oracle) and tools.
