This role offers a unique opportunity to be seconded to our bank partner, where the successful candidate will engage directly with high-net-worth clients and relationship managers to deliver tailored insurance solutions as part of holistic wealth planning.

The candidate will contribute to our mission by ensuring compliant, client-centric insurance advice that aligns with both Manulife’s standards and our partner bank’s expectations. This opportunity provides exposure to a prestigious banking environment, international client engagement, and the chance to influence wealth planning strategies at the highest level.

 Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct joint appointments with RMs to meet customers, understand their needs and provide advice on suitable insurance solutions 
  • Support the entire insurance application fulfilment process, follow up on underwriting requirements and facilitate a smooth onboarding journey 
  • Conduct subsequent reviews with clients to ensure their evolving needs are met
  • Conduct regular updates, training & engagement to private bankers so that they are familiar with concepts of insurance as a part of wealth planning, as well as the main attributes of the products and their applications
  • Respond to RM and customer's insurance related queries promptly
  • Prepare client presentation material with the support of admin team.
  • Work with RMs & admin team to provide after sales services to clients.
  • Attend client engagement events locally & overseas 
  • Conduct presentations at client events
  • Ensure that the advisory process is fully compliant with Manulife's guidelines as well as the requirements of our private bank partner

Requirements

  • Degree Holder with at least 10 years of related experience marketing insurance products to HNWI preferably within the banking industry
  • Established track record in marketing life insurance to HNWIs
  • Strong working & technical knowledge in HNW insurance and an in depth understanding of underwriting and due diligence requirements
  • Travelling will be required
  • Possesses a positive mindset, is a motivated self-starter with the tenacity to succeed
  • Ability to establish rapport and good relationships with private bankers, clients and related stakeholders
  • Fluency in English & Mandarin. Ability to present, and conduct business in Mandarin
  • Possesses CMFAS qualifications
