Contract for 3 to 6 months mission
Experience : 10+
Location : Kallang (Singapore) 
Timing : Office hours
Set up : On site

We are looking for a front-end expert with strong technical skills and the ability to deliver high-quality

code. The ideal candidate should be an individual contributor, fully capable of coding efficiently and

making a real impact on the team. Strong communication skills and team spirit are essential for smooth

collaboration.

Experience in back-end development would be a bonus.

Scope of the Role:

• Perform the design and development of new digital applications with POC and MVP solutions in

the Innovation APAC team.

• Lead final product development with a team once the MVP is validated.

• Secure the reliability, performance, scalability, and maintenance of the solution, ensuring

customer satisfaction.

Requirements
Key Accountabilities:

1. Digital Strategy & Roadmap

  • Responsible for designing the digital strategy and roadmap.
  • Develop first solutions from POC to MVP.
  • Lead internal teams or suppliers in the development of final products.

2. Understanding Business Requirements

  • Understand customer business and end-users’ activities, expectations, constraints, and opportunities.
  • Understand industry products and practices.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and policies.
  • Produce functional and technical requirements.
  • Participate in technical analysis in workshops with program management, business/technical analysts to translate new opportunities into full lifecycle product components and strategize project implementations.

3. Solution Design

  • Design strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop products through proof-of-concept (POC).
  • Leverage new partners and technology to build innovative and competitive solutions.
  • Support team in business proposals.• Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment.
  • • Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end solutions optimized for speed and scale.
  • • Stay updated on the latest advancements and emerging technologies to proactively explore and propose innovative ideas.

4. Development & Implementation

  • Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Spring Boot or other frameworks.
  • Backend Development: Implement and optimize server-side logic for high performance and responsiveness.
  • Frontend Development: Work with front-end technologies to create dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
  • Database Management: Develop and manage complex queries and stored procedures, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate different modules and systems seamlessly.
  • Code Review & Optimization: Conduct regular code reviews, optimize existing code, and improve application performance.
  • Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software issues in a timely manner.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation to support the development process.
  • Scaling: Once POC and MVP are approved, lead an extended team of developers to develop the final product at a global scale.
  • Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior team members, providing expertise and leadership.

Main Required Competencies

Mandatory Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in IT, digital companies, or software development.
  • Strong full-stack experience in web and mobile application development.
  • Proven track record in end-to-end digital product development from design to deployment/support.
  • Experience in software release management.
  • Proficiency in DevOps, including Docker and Ansible.
  • Experience with Git and release management.
  • Familiarity with Azure environment.
  • Demonstrable skills in customer-centric approach.
  • Strong experience in agile practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced team culture.
  • Experience working with remote teams.

Desirable Skills:

  • Engineering or Master’s degree in software development, computer science, or information systems.
  • UX/UI expertise.
  • Experience in digital architecture and multiple programming languages.
  • Experience working in multinational corporations (MNCs) and startups.
  • Experience in developing new digital solutions for industrial applications (end-to-end product lifecycle)
  • Experience in innovation/R&D teams focused on new product development with fast-tracking capabilities.
  • Start-up experience.
  • Expertise in microservices architecture and Azure environment.
  • Experience in building large-scale software applications and web applications.
  • Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency in ReactJS, Angular, Java/JRuby, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Vue.js.
  • Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
  • Experience in unit/integration testing.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks to meet roadmap goals.
  • Ability to lead without formal authority and work independently or within a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate customer needs into actionable solutions.
  • Assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders while ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting.
  • Experience working with worldwide teams.
  • Fluent in English (French is a plus).
