What You Will Do

  • Own the Australia GTM strategy: Develop and execute a localized integrated marketing playbook that challenges rising competitors and builds Plaud's authority in the professional sector, benchmarked against best-in-class regional practices.

  • Lead 360-degree campaign execution: Run campaigns across PR, digital, social, and offline channels — from brief to post-campaign analysis — with full accountability for brand recall, engagement, and pipeline contribution in the Australia market.

  • Build the professional network and align spend to outcomes: Develop relationships with trade associations, media, and key industry stakeholders (boardroom to trade floor), while working with regional leadership to translate growth targets into channel/budget decisions and report spend efficiency against agreed KPIs.

  • Benchmark, analyze, and optimize: Continuously track Plaud's brand position against competitors, identify gaps using data and first-principles analysis, and adapt the approach to pursue best-in-class performance — drawing on a proven track record of owning a regional/country-level marketing function end-to-end with measurable brand or revenue outcomes.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience We Look for

  • Brand-building in professional/B2B sectors (Australia): Proven ability to build brand authority by navigating trade associations, industry media, and corporate stakeholder relationships, with an established network within Australian professional/industry bodies.

  • End-to-end campaign execution: Hands-on experience planning and running multi-channel campaigns (PR, digital, social, offline) with full budget ownership and post-campaign performance reporting.

  • Australian market expertise with commercial edge: Deep understanding of the local media landscape, business culture, and professional-sector dynamics — able to localize global brand strategy and make independent, data-driven spend and channel decisions without heavy process structure.

  • Product and cross-cultural experience: Prior experience marketing a hardware or AI-powered consumer/professional product in Australia or APAC, ideally with a China-headquartered brand, navigating stakeholder alignment between local market and global HQ.
