At Genetec, we know that hiring, retaining and managing the best talent is a key driver to our collective success. We are looking for a passionate, ambitious, self-motivated, results driven HR Manager to help us achieve our objectives.

Collaborating closely with the Human Resources (HR) team in Canada, your mission is to hire the best talent in Asia Pacific. You’ll also be responsible for defining and monitoring the implementation of the company's HR strategies and policies. You ensure there is a link between the management team, the Corporate Head Office and employees by taking care of the social relations within the organization. You will advise and share your expertise with the various departments.

What your day will look like:

HR Policies & Procedures: 

  • Define and implement the APAC HR strategy according to the company's strategic objectives and the local requirements (employment, compensation, corporate social responsibility, talent acquisition, etc.) 
  • Partner with managers on annual goal setting, annual performance assessment and periodic feedback sessions that strive to raise the performance of the company 
  • Provide guidance and direction to APAC team on HR policies, processes and system 
  • Advocate employee communication processes that inform employees as well as to enhance communication between employees and management 
  • Define HR procedures and ensure their compliance with legal requirements 
  • Contribute to the reflection and definition of the HR management policy conducted by the head office

Recruitment: 

  • Responsible for full cycle recruitment for a broad range of technical and non-technical roles 
  • Be an ambassador for our talent brand 
  • Be part of hiring forecasting and being able to surface skill gaps for your teams 
  • Sourcing and headhunting the best talent 
  • Development of the internship program 
  • Identification and determination of salary ranges and benefits in the market 

Onboarding & Coaching: 

  • Organize and conduct onboarding sessions for new employees 
  • Follow-up on the integration of the candidates within the teams 
  • Conduct integration interviews and coach the Managers during the probation period 

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related filed
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Has demonstrated success in a related industry and have made some solid network connections
  • Very well versed in all areas in recruitment. Aware of challenges our industry may face in the next 2-5 years
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbally and written
  • Great organizational skills, high attention to details
  • Able to build strong partnerships with Hiring Managers
  • Resilient and objective focused
  • Open to new challenges
