The Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support recruitment and HR operations across our regional entities (Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, and Vietnam). This is a hands-on, foundational HR role suited to someone building their generalist experience, with exposure across the full employee lifecycle — from sourcing candidates through to onboarding and records management.

The role sits within a lean regional HR team and offers broad exposure to both talent acquisition and HR operations, with opportunities to take on more ownership as skills develop.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Recruitment Support
  •   Support end-to-end recruitment for open roles — sourcing, screening, and shortlisting candidates under guidance
  •   Post job openings across approved job boards and platforms
  •   Conduct initial screening calls and coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers and panels
  •   Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the ATS
  •   Assist with offer letter preparation and coordination
  •   Help track basic recruitment metrics (e.g. time-to-fill, pipeline status) for reporting
  1. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
  •   Support onboarding coordination, including Day 1 logistics and new joiner scheduling
  •   Assist with pre-boarding tasks — liaising with hiring managers on role details ahead of new hire start dates
  •   Track probation timelines and send reminders to line managers at key milestones
  •   Maintain accurate employee records and documentation within the HRIS
  •   Support offboarding administration as needed
  •   Assist with day-to-day HR administrative tasks and employee queries
  1. HR Systems & Reporting
  •   Help maintain data accuracy in the ATS and HRIS
  •   Support preparation of basic HR and recruitment reports for the team
  1. HR Projects & General Support
  •   Support rollout and implementation of HR projects related to improving employee experience and improving HR operations.
  •   Provide general administrative support to the regional HR team as a lean team member
Who We Are Looking For
  • About 5 - 8 years of functional HR experience of which at least 3 years should be primarily in a recruitment related role.
  • Experience in hiring as a recruiter in both software development and non-technology related roles across junior and mid-level roles. Recruitment experience for software and related technology roles is a must for this job. Experience in regional ASEAN recruitment is preferred.
  • Post secondary education with ability to communicate and write well in English, Bachelor’s degree is preferable
  • Familiar with ATS systems (eg, Greenhouse)
  • Knowledgeable on the use of HR Information Systems such as ProSoft, Octomate, Bamboo HR, etc.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, structured, and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Proficient in Google Workspace use especially the use of Google Sheets reporting
  • Able to learn and manage tasks independently with strong sense of ownership
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools and emerging HR technologies to improve team productivity, automate routine workflows, and enhance HR reporting and decision-making. Prior experience with AI-assisted HR tools is an advantage; genuine curiosity to adopt new technologies is essential.
