What you will do

As an HRBP at Plaud, you won’t just manage headcount; you will be an architect of an AI-native organization. You will partner with our SG-based Tech and Ops leaders to scale teams, optimize performance, and embed our "Act from First Principles" culture into every workflow.

  • Strategic Partnering: Align HR initiatives with business goals for our Big Data, Engineering, and Commercialization teams.

  • Talent Development & Integration: Lead end-to-end recruitment for mid-to-senior technical roles; ensure seamless onboarding in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • Performance & Culture: Implement data-driven performance management and drive a culture of 'Let others thrive' across a global, multicultural workforce.

  • AI-Driven Ops: Proactively use AI tools to automate HR workflows (reporting, screening, employee queries) to maintain a lean, efficient team.

  • Compliance: Manage SG labor law compliance, payroll oversight, and local employee relations.

Skills, qualifications and experience we look for

  • 5-8 years in HRBP roles, ideally within Big Tech or high-growth AI startups.

  • Proven track record in scaling technical teams (Big Data, Engineering, AI) from the ground up in the Singapore market.

  • Ability to leverage data (not just intuition) to optimize headcount planning, retention, and performance metrics.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Employment Act, EP/COMPASS framework, and MOM regulations.

  • Ability to solve organizational bottlenecks by breaking them down to fundamental truths rather than following "standard HR manuals."

  • Native-level fluency in English and Mandarin (to collaborate with HQ/Global teams)

What we offer

  • Meaningful Ownership An Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) that gives a real stake in Plaud’s long-term success.

  • Team & Culture Annual company offsites, team events, and a culture that values craftsmanship, ownership, and velocity.

  • Medical & Insurance Coverage Comprehensive benefits to protect our employees' financial security, physical health, and longterm growth. Medical insurance and WICA coverage for all full-time employees.
