Job Description

Role Overview

The HR Business Partner (HRBP), Asia Headquarters and APAC HR Operations Lead will support approximately 96 full‑time employees across APAC and serve as a strategic partner to regional leadership teams. This role combines 35% HRBP responsibilities with 65% Center of Excellence (COE) responsibilities, focusing on building scalable HR operations, driving process standardization, and strengthening employee experience across the region.

The HRBP will work closely with the Head of HR (Asia) and Country HR teams to refine processes, implement regional initiatives, and ensure consistent execution at the country level.

The position is based in  Singapore.  Business travel within the region, APAC head regions and to HQ in Sweden will be considered a natural part of the job. You will report to the Regional Director and have a dotted line to the APAC HR organization, indirectly reporting to HR Director APAC.

Responsibilities

HR Business Partnering (35%)

Supporting APAC leaders and teams including:

  • APAC Marketing Director
  • APAC Finance Director
  • APAC Channel Partner & End Customer Director
  • Technical Sales Director

Core HRBP responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic HR guidance to regional leaders.
  • Partner on workforce planning, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support employee relations, performance management, and engagement initiatives.
  • Act as a regional escalation point and ensure alignment with global HR frameworks.

HR Employee Services & Operations (COE – Majority Scope)

  • Build and Standardize HR Processes
  • Design and implement end‑to‑end HR processes (hiring, onboarding, offboarding, transfers, etc.).
  • Establish standardized HR policies and benefits across APAC, ensuring compliance and consistency.
  • Partner with Country HR teams to clean and validate HR data.

Process Optimization & Automation

  • Analyze discrepancies, inefficiencies, and opportunities for streamlining.
  • Propose and support automation initiatives, including employee self‑service solutions.
  • Develop a People Manager resource site to enable future self‑service capabilities.

HR Systems & Analytics

  • Utilize Workday to support reporting, data integrity, and process improvements.
  • Contribute to the creation of HR dashboards and analytics to support decision‑making.

Internal Employee Communications

  • Support internal communications strategy and execution across APAC.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and alignment with global HR communications.

Working Model

  • This role partners closely with the Head of HR (Asia) and Country HR teams.
  • Responsible for process design, implementation, and data clean‑up, while execution occurs within each country HR team.
  • Acts as a regional integrator to ensure alignment, quality, and scalability of HR operations.

Profile (Qualifications for this job)

  • You have broad HR experience from working in an international and dynamic environment
  • Proven interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proven leadership and collaboration skills
  • Graduate with a relevant Degree ( e.g. Business Administration, Labor Law, or HR).
  • You are fluent in business English.
