Job Description

Are you interested in gaining hands-on experience with a real-world digital transformation project while learning about employee benefits in a global organization?

We are hiring for an internship with a minimum commitment of 6 months. Please indicate your available dates in your Cover Letter and submit your CV together with unofficial transcripts. No relocation assistance is offered for this position. Coverage of benefits for Contractual positions may change or vary.

We’re looking for a curious, detail-oriented, and creative student based in Singapore to join us as a short-term intern supporting our Benefits Experience Project.

This project has already completed Phase 1, and we are now moving into Phase 2, which involves expanding to more countries across APAC. In this role, you’ll help reimagine how employee benefits content is shared and accessed by migrating and refreshing content from our current intranet to a brand-new SharePoint site.

You’ll work closely with the regional HR team, global project team and other functional stakeholders, get exposure to real-world project work, learn about digital workplace tools, and see what it takes to deliver a regional rollout for a global company. This project will cover all 8 countries in the region, giving you broad exposure and experience.

If you enjoy organizing information, have an eye for clear communication, and want to build real skills while making a meaningful impact — we’d love to hear from you!

Core Responsibilities

  • Curate Useful Content – help organise and simplify benefits information so colleagues can easily find what matters most to them.
  • Design with Purpose - Bring content to life by transforming it for our new SharePoint platform. Learn how to structure and format info in ways that are clean, clear, and user-friendly.
  • Get practical experience using SharePoint — you'll help prepare content and manage pages, with support along the way.
  • Participate in team discussions, contribute ideas and team with colleagues from different countries and across functions.
  • Enhance user experience – Contribute to creating a seamless online journey for our employees by ensuring the site is functional, intuitive, user-friendly for everyone.

Play your part in our team succeeding

As a HR Benefits Intern, you’ll join the APAC People Partnering team within the broader HR organisation at the LEGO Group. Our team works across People Partnering, Benefits, and HR Operations, and while we’re spread across the region, this role will be based in Singapore.

You’ll support the Benefits and HR Operations team by helping to refresh and transform our SharePoint sites, working with colleagues across APAC to update content, improve structure, and enhance how HR information is communicated to employees. Through this role, you’ll gain exposure to how HR operates in a global organisation, including employee benefits and HR communications.

In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience, collaborate with HR teams across APAC as well as cross-functional colleagues from other business areas, and be supported throughout as you contribute to a key digital transformation project.

Do you have what it takes?

We’re looking for a motivated student based in Singapore who is excited to gain hands-on experience while contributing to a meaningful project. You might be the one we’re looking for if you:

  • Are currently enrolled in a degree program in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Marketing, Administration, or a related field
  • Enjoy content creation and have a knack for presenting information clearly and engagingly
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and professionally.
  • Are resilient and adaptable with ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate across several countries during the rollout.
  • Are familiar with SharePoint or excited to learn how to manage and publish content on this platform (we will train and support you if you are not as familiar with Sharepoint)
  • Have a good eye for detail and take pride in producing accurate, well-structured work
  • Are curious, eager to learn, not afraid to ask questions, and able to work independently while collaborating closely with the project lead
  • Are comfortable working with data and can identify trends or gaps and present insights in a simple, easy-to-understand format
  • Are a confident user of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
