Representative will play a pivotal role as a key liaison between FNZ and its clients, ensuring strategic alignment and addressing technology-related concerns. This role is vital in facilitating seamless communication and collaboration across various teams.

  • Regional Technology Leadership
    • Represent technology towards clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders, ensuring consistent alignment with business objectives.
    •  Address audit, risk, and security concerns specific to the region, and act on technology-related requests from clients and regulators.
    • Serve as a regulatory liaison when needed, including roles like SMF 24 in the UK.
  • Engineering Leadership for Subsystems and Markets
    • Lead Engineering Teams: Manage teams developing our capital markets solution and other subsystems, ensuring high-quality deliverables and timely project completion.
    • Project Management & Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate client-focused projects, collaborate with product managers and clients to define technical specifications, and ensure successful project delivery.
    • Global Coordination: Oversee engineering efforts in the APAC region and integrate globally developed subsystems, optimizing collaboration and technical solutions.
  • Architectural evolution
    • Oversee and guide regional delivery to ensure feature reuse, compliance, and integration of non-client-initiated changes.
    •  Develop and manage the regional architectural roadmap to support long-term technical growth.
    • Engage in Communities of Practice (COPs) and other initiatives aimed at continuous improvement and best practice adoption.
    • Establish regional standards and metrics, implementing best practices that align with global architectural goals.
  • Resource Management
    • Collaborate with the Head of Delivery to determine regional resource needs and maintain team stability.
    • Enable cross-regional resource sharing to support flexible staffing while adhering to Global Technology's (GT) leadership standards.
  • Cyber and Information Security
    • Laise with GCISO and mobilize support for CISO investigations from project teams
    • Enforce security architecture and engineering eg. move to common identity and access solution, provide security observability into platforms
  • Infrastructure and Change Management
    • Laise with GCIO and adopt standards, ensure that CIO mandates are supported
    • Support regional release management and document production
    • Oversee regional infrastructure to meet both security and operational requirements, addressing any local concerns proactively.
    • Lead the regional release board to coordinate release processes and manage infrastructure convergence.
    • Ensure supportability and operational compliance with CIO standards, enhancing the region’s readiness for ongoing changes and supporting global infrastructure convergence.

Experience required 

  • Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role within a large, complex organization.
  • Strong understanding of regional and global technology landscapes, with the ability to balance local and global priorities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in change management and infrastructure convergence.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the region.
