We are hiring a Head of Sales!
As Head of Sales at Breeze, you’ll be responsible for building and owning our sales function from the ground up, with an initial focus on driving revenue as an individual contributor. You’ll create the strategies, processes, and playbooks needed to scale, while working closely with the leadership team to shape our go-to-market approach in payments and fintech. Over time, you’ll transition into a player-coach role, leading and mentoring a high-performing sales team to accelerate growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close across diverse verticals, with a core focus on payments, gaming, sports and interactive entertainment space.
Build and execute scalable outbound and inbound sales strategies - Develop processes, SOPs, and sales plans from scratch to support rapid growth
Define and track key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
Collaborate closely with founders to shape GTM strategy and revenue goals - Partner with product and marketing teams to align sales execution with market needs
Establish a foundation for future team growth, including onboarding and training programs
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in fintech, payments, or related technology sectors (payments experience strongly preferred)
- Hands-on startup experience, ideally as the first sales hire or part of an early go-to-market team
- Demonstrated ability to create processes, playbooks, and scalable sales strategies from scratch
- Strong commercial instincts, consultative selling skills, and ability to navigate complex deals
- Comfort in an IC role to start, but has experience leading high performing teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling pitches and proposals

Requirements:
- 10+ years of B2B closing sales expertise in Payments, Fintech, or related technology fields
- Proven startup experience with demonstrated 0→1 sales building skills, including creating processes, SOPs, GTM strategies, and scalable playbooks
- Experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams, ideally in a high-growth environment
- Strong track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets in complex, high-value deal environments
- Deep understanding of B2B sales cycles and ability to navigate executive-level negotiations
- Ability to operate as both an individual contributor and sales leader as the organization scales
- Bachelor’s degree
Preferred: Experience selling payment solutions or related products and services.
