Job Profile Summary:
The Head of Prudential FA (PFA) Risk & compliance will be accountable in the overall management of the Risk & Compliance function, which includes leading and overseeing and developing policies and frameworks relating to risk management, market conduct, financial crime, regulatory compliance and regulatory liaison.
Job Description:
Providing an oversight of firm-wide risk management and be part of key decision-making processes
Providing independent oversight of the management of the firm’s compliance with all laws, regulations, codes of conduct, standards of good practice and, group and internal policies relevant to its activities
Safeguarding the firm’s image and reputation and oversight in the management of risks associated with bribery, corruption, money laundering and terrorism
Maintaining oversight of and managing the Risk and Compliance activities outsourced to PACS, as well as PFA’s Annual Compliance Plan
Assuming the responsibilities of PFA’s Data Protection Officer
Track, monitor and ensure compliance on all regulatory, industry and Group requirements.
Key regulatory liaison on all regulatory matters. This includes proactively engaging with regulators and relevant stakeholders on risk and compliance matters, handling of regulatory requests and queries, and managing any regulatory visits and inspections.
Provide regular, and as required, reporting to the regulator, Board, Board committees, local governance committees and Group Compliance
Who we are looking for:
Experience in regulated financial institution and familiar with strong regulatory knowledge and risk management
Experience in people management
Comprehensive understanding of the industry and direct competitors' products and services
Comprehensive understanding of strategic direction of the function
In-depth conceptual/practical grounding in the function and/or expertise in related subject areas
Working Experience:
15+ years of relevant experience
Education:
Degree in related discipline
