Most AI agent platforms are built for demos. You're going to build one that works in production at the scale of the world's largest B2C brands.
The Company
Sendbird is on a mission to build the AI workforce of tomorrow. For over a decade, we built the infrastructure behind conversations—chat, voice, video, messaging APIs—and became the #1 CPaaS platform for in-app communications. 4,000+ brands trust us. 7 billion messages flow through our platform every month. 300 million monthly active users.
We powered conversations for DoorDash, Match Group, Noom, Yahoo Sports, Rakuten, and thousands of others. We were good at what we did. Really good.
We also saw it early: AI would fundamentally reshape how businesses talk to customers. The infrastructure we'd spent a decade building would become commoditized. The value would move up the stack—into intelligence, into experience, into outcomes.
We had a choice: protect what we built, or reinvent ourselves.
We chose reinvention.
In December 2024, we made the full strategic pivot to AI-first customer experience. By February 2025, we'd launched our AI agent for enterprise CX—built on a decade of conversation data, now with intelligence on top. And in November 2025, we rebranded to delight.ai.
The name says it all. AI's real promise isn't efficiency or cost savings. It's giving customers back something they lost—the feeling of being truly understood and cared for. Not satisfied. Delighted.
The Product
Delight.ai is the AI concierge for customer experience. Most AI agents forget you the moment the conversation ends. Ours doesn't. Delight.ai builds memory over time, learns preferences, and connects context across every channel—chat, SMS, email, voice, WhatsApp—without losing the thread. We're building AI that makes customers feel understood, seen, and remembered.
Why Head of Product, Korea
Most vendors are still shipping prototypes dressed up as products. The gap between "AI demo" and "AI in production at scale" is enormous, and it's exactly where this role lives.
You'll own the product strategy for our AI Agent for Customer Service platform across North America, EMEA, and APAC. This isn't a regional mandate. It's a flagship product line at the intersection of agentic AI innovation and enterprise-grade execution. If you've been waiting for a seat at the table where AI goes from interesting to essential, this is it.
The Role
As Head of Product, Korea, you own the vision, roadmap, and execution of Sendbird's AI Agent for Customer Service platform, from agent design and testing through deployment and live operation at enterprise scale. You'll lead a Seoul-based PM team, partner closely with Engineering, Design, and Go-to-Market, and report directly to the CPO in San Mateo. This role is built for a product leader who thrives with real ownership, real stakes, and a global stage.
You might be this person if:
- You think about enterprise products across the full lifecycle: trust, safety, governance, observability, and what happens when things break in production, not just the happy path.
- You use AI tools daily to move faster: automating research synthesis, generating roadmap briefs, building custom workflows that help your team make better decisions with less overhead.
- You've shipped AI or platform products and can speak fluently with engineers about architecture without losing sight of the customer problem being solved.
- You hold high standards for product craft and coach your team to get there by asking better questions, not doing it for them.
- You move between executive conversations and team-level execution without losing fidelity in either direction.
- You treat customer feedback as a primary input, not a post-launch activity, and find ways to stay close to the ground as the team scales.
- You have strong opinions about what makes a great AI agent experience and can back them up with evidence, not just instinct.
- You know how to build trust with stakeholders across Seoul and San Mateo simultaneously.
You need to have
- Proven track record as a senior product leader owning full product lines or portfolios in a complex, fast-moving environment.
- Experience building or scaling enterprise-grade products, with a clear understanding of what "production-ready" means for large B2C organizations.
- Strong people leadership: hiring, developing, and setting the bar for a team of PMs.
- Full professional fluency in Korean and English, with demonstrated ability to operate across global, cross-functional teams.
- The ability to translate emerging AI and agentic capabilities into high-impact, practical product decisions.
What you'll actually do
- Own the product vision and roadmap, balancing long-term platform bets with near-term enterprise needs.
- Architect production-grade capabilities into the platform: trust, safety, evaluation, observability, and governance.
- Push the boundaries of agent autonomy, orchestration, and human-in-the-loop workflows with Engineering and Design.
- Lead, coach, and develop a Seoul-based PM team, setting clear expectations and raising the bar on product thinking.
- Use AI tools to accelerate your own output: automated reporting, roadmap synthesis, and cross-functional briefings that would otherwise eat your week.
- Communicate tradeoffs, risks, and opportunities clearly to the CPO and senior leadership.
- Pull real enterprise feedback into the roadmap by working directly with customer-facing teams and target account stakeholders.
- Partner with Product Marketing to build vertical-specific value propositions across global markets.
- Set the standard for product excellence and decision-making as the organization scales.
Added Value
- Experience scaling product organizations in high-growth or global companies.
- Background working with platform, infrastructure, or technically complex products.
- Exposure to international markets and go-to-market motions across North America, EMEA, or APAC.
- Silicon Valley's equity program (1-year cliff)
- Hybrid work policy, flexible work hours
- Be Your Best Self: 3.9 million won (prorated by start date) for expenses ranging from professional development classes and training, to personality assessments, to gym memberships, to books, to fitness classes, to mental health services, to massages
- Learn a Language benefit - up to 3.6 million won per year towards language lessons
- Monthly team building cost
- Partial support for commuting costs
- Free parking at the Seolleung office
- Group insurance support that covers employees, spouses, and children
- Medical checkup support, including MRI and genetic testing - for the employee and one family member
- Seven additional paid holidays in addition to annual leave (Boost leave, Birthday leave, etc.)
- Unlimited snack bar filled with snacks, beverages, and instant noodles every day
- 12-week paid parental leave support (available for both mothers and fathers)
- Other support programs for congratulations and condolences
Flexible Work Policy
We offer a flexible work schedule at Sendbird. We also value collaboration and relationship building. With those values in mind, we require all employees to gather with their team in the office three days per week as a minimum. Some of our roles require a more frequent in-office schedule. Please work with your manager to understand the office time requirements for your position.
What diversity and inclusion mean to us
There is no such thing as a perfect candidate and the best employees come from a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and skill sets. Sendbird is a place where everyone can learn and grow. We respect, promote, and encourage diversity for equal employment opportunities and encourage you to apply if this role excites you.
Why Sendbird
We're not iterating on yesterday's CX stack. We're rebuilding it. You'll own a product line that sits at the center of that bet, one that global enterprise customers depend on to interact with hundreds of millions of their users. This is a rare opportunity to lead from Seoul, ship to the world, and shape what AI-first customer experience looks like in production. The work is real. The stakes are high. And we're just getting started.
