What’s the opportunity?

We are looking for a senior marketing professional with industry experience who will help us grow our business in Singapore.

In this Singapore-based role, you will report directly to the COO APAC and collaborate closely with stakeholders in Singapore and our HQ Marketing department. You will also lead a team of skilled marketing professionals in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of local marketing planning based on overall business strategy and local office priorities.

  • Custodian of our global brand and responsibility to develop our brand perception and awareness in Singapore.

  • Responsibility and accountability for the local marketing budget, ensure that it is deployed to achieve maximum ROI across all marketing activities and channels (supported by central Media team)

  • Responsibility for client acquisition (growth strategy: new clients, new deposits, NewBiz revenue) primarily via digital performance marketing.

  • Go-to-market planning in relation to global and local commercial roadmaps (e.g. new product or feature launches, pricing initiatives, or marketing campaigns)

  • Scoping, planning, and executing marketing initiatives in close collaboration with our HQ Marketing Department and internal agency.

  • Use analysis of online marketing channels and web analytics to grow the lead generation engine and improve conversion rates from ad to web to lead capture

  • Improve marketing full-funnel efficiencies via constant optimization

  • Oversee and develop influencers, key opinion leaders (KOL), affiliates, and strategic alliances (e.g. with broker comparison portals or trader/investor communities)

  • Provide local insights on competition, media, legislative environment, as well as market and industry development

  • Effective and complete briefing of marketing initiatives

  • Marketing business case development (based on budget, media mix, volume and conversion rate assessment)

  • Collaborate with creative, web, and PR teams to execute marketing initiatives from brief to go-live

  • Collaborate with paid media team on channel mix, budget allocation, performance optimization and tracking

  • Lead and develop an efficient and client centric regional marketing team (responsible for staffing, performance reviews, salary negotiations, etc.)

  • Improve regional efficiencies in terms of knowledge sharing and scaling of initiatives and capabilities across region.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Strong track record of delivering growth in a similar role at an online broker, neo bank, financial service firm, Digital Insurance, FinTech start-up or E-Commerce business.

  • 5+ years of leadership experience and 10+ years of experience with digital performance marketing at a strategic and execution level / brand management experience is a strong plus

  • Knowledge of most common ad engines (e.g. Sprinklr, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Business Manager, Smartly, Google Ads, Google DV360, Google SA360) – a central Media team will support in the execution, but familiarity with these tools is advantageous

  • Ability to make decisions based on performance analytics and comfortable with analytical tools such as Adobe Analytics and PowerBi

  • Results-driven and dynamic with a passion for data and performance optimization

  • Experience in partnership, influencer, KOL, affiliate marketing with strong local network

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced sales- and performance-driven environment

  • Industry knowledge throughout APAC region (competitive landscape, client insights, product offering, regulatory environment, etc.)

  • Ability to be both, hands on and strategic, within a fast moving and dynamic environment where the business priorities can change quickly

  • Experience in managing senior stakeholders (including C-suit), strong communication and presentation skills

  • Strong people and networking skills, and ability to work remotely with stakeholders at different geographic locations

KPIs:

  • Responsibility for Marketing/NewBiz KPIs laddering up to overall business KPIs

    • Business KPIs: NPS, Revenue, Client Assets, Cost/Income ratio

    • Marketing/NewBiz KPIs: Visitors, Leads, New Funded Clients, New Trading Clients, Net New Assets,  Revenue from New Clients

      • Sub-metrics: (Conversion Rates throughout the marketing funnel, CAC, ROAS, Marketing B/E)
