The Head of Government Relations will drive regulatory engagement across APAC, advocate for compliance technology, and manage relationships with regulators.
We are seeking an experienced Head of Government Relations for the APAC region with a proven background in RegTech and IDV to join our growing team at Programmers Force. In this role, you will drive regulatory engagement and advocacy across diverse APAC markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and manage relationships with APAC regulators and policymakers.
- Monitor regulatory frameworks across key markets (Singapore, Australia, India, etc.).
- Advocate for compliance technology adoption and favorable policies.
- Represent the company in APAC-based industry associations and government dialogues.
- Provide guidance on APAC regulatory trends to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10+ years in government relations, regulatory affairs, or compliance.
- Strong knowledge of APAC financial regulations and KYC/AML frameworks.
- Ability to navigate complex multi-country regulatory environments.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
