Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Director, Content Operations & Compliance to lead our growing Content Operations team. This key leadership position is primarily based in Manila, where a significant portion of the operations team is located, and requires an individual who can drive high standards of performance, team development and operational excellence. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Operations and Customer Success, to ensure seamless content management and delivery for our partners.
What You Do
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the senior Quality Control team to ensure speedy turnaround times on Quality Control projects of new catalogues that are to be onboarded to the FUGA platform as well as a smooth process for new releases flowing through our pipes for our existing clients
- Continue to combat abusive content flowing through our DSP deals together with our Trust & Safety team, by creating new and improving existing procedures for fraud prevention, detection and intervention
- Make use of all datasets to monitor KPIs across each pillar so as to inform decision-making, measure success and identify opportunities to create value by working in a more cost-effective manner
- Coordinate the allocation of the team’s resources between each pillar to manage the incoming workload and prevent arising backlogs adequately
- Build out comprehensive and extensive onboarding, training and growth plans for new and existing personnel
- Manage relationships with our Product and Technology teams and be a key stakeholder in ensuring that important feedback captured across all Content Operations’ pillars is fed back into those departments in order to structurally improve and optimise the way we do our work
- Work closely together with our Head of Client Support, Client Relations teams and the Global Head of Operations to ensure the work is done within acceptable timeframes and with a focus on our client’s expectations, with certain nuances per client and regions in mind
- Work closely together with our Head of Digital Supply Chain on all of our DSP scorecards and ensure our continued Preferred Partnership status across our entire DSP partner network
Who You Are
- Demonstrable experience in (content) operations, preferably within music distribution, media, or a similar industry
- Proven track record of leadership and effective team management, including delegation, escalation and resource planning
- Experience in connecting customer needs with product development, acting as a driving force between customer-facing and product teams
- High level of responsibility and ownership, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster a positive team environment
- Process-focused with a strong sense of responsibility and desire to make improvements on a daily basis
- Strong knowledge of the music industry (digital supply chain, royalty accounting, neighbouring rights, publishing, etc.)
- Understanding the value of using data to inform decision-making and measure success
- Proactive, detail-oriented and accurate with excellent organisational skills
- Able to prioritise and focus while working to tight client-driven deadlines
- Comfortable communicating with high-value clients and business partners, providing a high level of client service
- Confident in using G Suite or similar tooling to organise, optimise and prioritise work
- Excellent written and verbal communication in the English language
- Willingness to be based in Manila or relocate to Manila is preferred but not mandatory
