The Pfizer Career Program (PCP) is a structured 15-month rotational program designed to develop early-career professionals into future leaders in pharmaceutical manufacturing. As an Automation Engineer PCP Associate, you will gain hands-on experience in manufacturing systems, digital technologies, process automation, and operational excellence, while working on meaningful projects that impact Pfizer's ability to deliver life-saving medicines.
How You Will Achieve It
• Rotate across key areas of automation and digital manufacturing , including Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES ) etc . • Support system troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement projects to enhance manufacturing reliability and efficiency. • Participate in digital transformation initiatives • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Digital) to deliver high-impact projects. • Gain exposure to regulatory and compliance requirements (GMP, data integrity, audit readiness). • Contribute to Pfizer's culture of safety, quality, and innovation .
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical , Chemical, Computer Engineering, or related field . • E arly-career professionals (≤ 5 years experience ) with strong interest in pharmaceutical manufacturing. • Knowledge of automation systems (PLC, DCS, MES) and programming languages is advantageous . • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, regulated environment. • Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and contributing to healthcare.
