The Position

Head of Business Partnering DIA APAC excl China
As the Head of Business Partnering DIA APAC excl China, you will act as a strategic visionary and trusted advisor, bridging the gap between Roche Digital Technology (RDT) and our dynamic Diagnostics markets. In this role, you will shape the digital roadmap and orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technology solutions that directly impact our healthcare ecosystem. You will empower a high-performing team to drive customer and patient satisfaction across one of our most growth-oriented regions.
Description of the Area
This is a strategic role that enables commercial success for APAC markets excl China. This role has to align our product strategies and roadmap to fulfill the needs of these dynamic and growth markets and ensure the smooth execution of business processes through adoption of our solutions as a critical enabler of success in these markets. The Head of Business Partnering DIA APAC excl China has to understand the customer/patient experience needs and translate that into omnichannel strategies with the products that will drive Customer and Patient satisfaction in the markets.
The Opportunity:

  • Drive Strategic Alignment: Act as the primary liaison and trusted advisor to business leaders, ensuring RDT strategies are perfectly synchronized with regional commercial goals.

  • Shape the Digital Roadmap: Partner closely with senior stakeholders to develop strategic direction and co-create a technology portfolio that drives tangible business outcomes.

  • Co-own Delivery Accountability: Oversee the planning, prioritization, and execution of complex technology projects, maintaining full accountability for scope, budget, and quality.

  • Champion Thought Leadership: Bring innovative insights to stakeholders to shape digital capabilities that enhance our impact on the global healthcare ecosystem.

  • Lead High-Impact Teams: Nurture a multidisciplinary team by fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and professional excellence.

  • Maximize Value Realization: Monitor and analyze KPIs to ensure IT services translate into measurable business value and widespread solution adoption in the markets.

  • Orchestrate Global Collaboration: Work with internal and external partners to align strategies, share insights, and maximize the impact of technology investments.

  • Manage Change & Risk: Proactively navigate project scope changes and escalate risks to ensure seamless business process execution and stability.

Who you are:

  • Experienced Leader: You possess 10+ years of leadership experience with a proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving decision-making.

  • Strategically Minded: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Business (Advanced degree/MBA preferred) and can balance short-term needs with long-term objectives.

  • Technical Visionary: You understand enterprise architecture principles and how emerging technologies can be applied to solve complex business challenges.

  • People Developer: You are passionate about coaching multidisciplinary teams to achieve high-performance goals.

  • Effective Communicator: You exhibit exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts for business audiences.

  • Business Savvy: You demonstrate strong business acumen and the ability to connect digital capabilities directly to patient and customer satisfaction.
