🎯 Role Overview

We’re looking for a high-performing, crypto-native Head of Business Development to lead GRVT’s global BD strategy and execution. This is a senior leadership role focused on growing our exchange and investment ecosystem through partnerships, KOL management, incentive programs, and strategic BD initiatives.

The ideal candidate comes from a leading crypto exchange or Web3 platform, has deep KOL and partner networks, and is both highly analytical and creatively entrepreneurial. You’ll be responsible for building and managing the BD team, owning OKRs and KPIs, and driving measurable growth through programs, relationships, and activations.

Key Responsibilities


🔹 Strategic BD Leadership

  • Define and execute GRVT’s global business development strategy—from partnerships to user acquisition.
  • Lead and scale a high-performing BD team, setting clear goals, OKRs, and performance metrics.
  • Build and own the BD operating system (CRM, outreach tracking, KPI dashboards).

🔹 KOLs, Community & Growth Programs

  • Own and expand a network of KOLs and influencers in crypto-native communities.
  • Design, launch, and optimize KOL incentive programs, referral structures, and ambassador schemes.
  • Manage KOL relationships end-to-end—from recruitment to activation to reporting.

🔹 Partnerships & GTM Strategy

  • Identify and close strategic partnerships across exchanges, projects, funds, ecosystem enablers, and fintechs.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and regional teams to align go-to-market and campaign plans.
  • Track, forecast, and report the ROI of BD initiatives and partnerships.

🔹 Event & Program Innovation

  • Design and execute creative BD-led campaigns, regional activations, and community events.
  • Leverage storytelling and conversions to showcase BD impact—turning ideas into scalable, repeatable growth loops.

👤 Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 8+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales—ideally in crypto or Web3.
  • Experience at a leading crypto exchange (CEX) or tokenized investment platform is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record leading BD teams and delivering against KPIs and revenue goals.
  • Deep KOL network and relationships across Telegram, Twitter, Discord, and regional communities.
  • Excellent with metrics, forecasts, ROI modeling, and goal tracking.
  • Creative mindset—able to ideate and execute programs that break through the noise and deliver results.
  • Comfortable owning partnership strategy, events, and regional execution simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Fluent in crypto culture, community dynamics, and user motivations.
