Position Summary
This position will provide strategic directions with objective to grow the business to a higher level. Be responsible for overall sales revenue & profitability, market share leadership of the TV/AV business, through leading the go to market strategy, sales management, customer strategic management, sales processes, effective budget management & product marketing development.
Role and Responsibilities
- Be the key point of communication and accountability back to the business for all category related activities across the cluster – interface with service, operations, finance, marketing to ensure alignment and efficient execution of plans to achieve business results
- Deliver Sales & Profitability (P&L) of the product division (TV/AV), driving leadership market share
- Drive business strategy and deliver both the financial (revenue, margin) on a monthly basis and market commitments for the business on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Responsible for forecast, sales estimate and large potential opportunities management
- Develop cluster specific strategic and tactical plans for the category to include customer acquisition strategies, pricing, launch strategies, program plans, sales/channel strategic and deployment models for sales and service delivery.
- Strengthen the channels and improve the processes through continuous go-to-market development
- Continuously map current channels, identify gaps vs opportunity and implement action plans to develop channels that reach out the target Customer Base
- Drive the right drumbeat and systems to ensure in-depth visibility of 4Ps issues across functions and come up with plans to address it timely
- Manage strategic channel partnership to achieve business plan
- Provide strategic sales strategies in achieving the target growth & revenue numbers
- Enable continuous training to channels to ensure appropriate skills sets and product knowledge development within the Channel community
- Provide leadership direction to the multi-functional team and coach them in delivering their outputs
- Be familiar with the current market trends and conditions as well as good knowledge & network of the consumer electronics industry
- Manage operational efficiency (eg. Supply Chan Management scores, forecast accuracy, AR collection scores etc) as well as capital budget
- Lead and manage the Sales team to achieve business goals and objectives through strategic sales initiatives like joint business planning and joint customer action plans
- Identify opportunities for change and convey the need for change through effective enrolment, execution & leadership
- Identify and develop opportunities within existing accounts to grow a deeper and strategic relationship with end users and to increase our share of wallet
- Build strong business relationships by delivering to our customers (Distributors, Resellers and End Users) business solutions that result in business growth, new revenue streams and efficiency gains through sound business knowledge, industry knowledge and expertise
Skills and Qualifications
- Degree/Master holder with at least 10 years of sales experience preferably specializing in Consumer Electronics products
- Experience in channel sales management / strong relationship with key channel partners paired with key account / direct sales management experience
- Strong strategic and operational skills along with excellent business acumen
- Strong leadership and good team work spirit, demonstrate the ability to work across boundaries and functions
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
