How you succeed
To succeed in this role, you'll need to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to technology trends and advancements. You'll work closely with our technology teams to design, implement, and maintain our infrastructure, ensuring it's aligned with our business goals and objectives. What you do
Drive regional modernisation strategy, architecture, and engineering roadmap for endpoint, mobile device, and automation platforms across multiple geographies in a highly regulated enterprise environment.
Provide senior technical leadership and act as the global subject‑matter authority for the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM), Microsoft Intune, and Jamf.
Define and enforce global engineering standards, security baselines, and operational controls across endpoints and collaboration platforms, ensuring consistent compliance with enterprise policies and regional regulatory requirements.
Partner with Risk, Security, Architecture, and Compliance teams to strengthen operational resilience, risk posture, and audit readiness across all supported regions.
Lead global implementation, certification, and adoption of new products, platforms, and software releases, ensuring alignment with approved technology roadmaps and regional deployment constraints.
Oversee resolution of complex, cross‑regional workplace technology issues, providing deep engineering oversight, root‑cause analysis, and systemic remediation.
Evaluate emerging technologies, product features, and vendor roadmaps, balancing innovation with stability, cost efficiency, security, and operational scalability.
Work closely with regional IT leaders and service partners to manage architecture alignment, platform consistency, and execution quality across countries and time zones.
Act as a technical spokesperson and thought leader for Workplace Technology, representing the function in global forums, steering committees, and senior leadership engagements.
Proactively assess and manage technology risk across jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to local laws, data protection requirements, and regulatory expectations while safeguarding the firm, its clients, and assets.
Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related discipline, with 10+ years of experience in endpoint or workplace engineering roles, including leadership responsibility across regional or global enterprise environments.
Strong track record in managing large‑scale, multi‑region endpoint platforms and controls using SCCM, Group Policy Objects (GPO), and Microsoft Intune.
Hands‑on experience implementing and managing enterprise endpoint security solutions, including the Microsoft Defender security suite, in regulated environments.
Advanced scripting and automation expertise using PowerShell and Python; working knowledge of Microsoft SQL preferred.
Solid grounding in technology risk management, security controls, and regulatory compliance, with prior experience supporting audits and regulatory reviews across multiple jurisdictions; relevant certifications are an advantage.
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex, systemic issues at enterprise and regional scale, spanning multiple platforms and dependencies.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical risks, trade‑offs, and recommendations to senior executives and non‑technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to operate independently while managing multiple, concurrent initiatives across regions and time zones.
Proven history of driving operational excellence, including process standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement at scale.
Extensive experience working within matrixed, globally distributed teams, partnering effectively with regional IT, security, architecture, and external service providers.
