Based in Singapore, you will be responsible for providing valuable enterprise and operational risk management expertise to and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of CG’s core business functions, providing leadership and direction on both proactive and reactive risk management efforts. The Risk Management function is also responsible for the Crisis Management and Business Continuity framework and assists business areas and local Crisis Management Teams in preparing for and responding to crisis events and supporting business resiliency across the organization.

  • Facilitates the execution of in-depth risk directed discussions with business areas (including senior management) to identify key risks and controls. Contributes to the globalization of the enterprise risk management framework and/or provide oversight of the maintenance of existing entity level risk registers which document the inherent and residual risk scores for each risk relevant to the entity.

  • Contributes to Crisis Management and lead the delivery of the Asia Business Continuity program through interaction with business areas and local crisis management teams where necessary to facilitate the execution of their plans to respond to crisis events.

  • Coordinates the operational event response process to enable prompt event resolution, and partner with the relevant business area(s) to complete the necessary event reports, identify adequate proposed control enhancements, and support the periodic exception report review and SOX certification processes.

  • Prepares regular risk reports, and in some cases, participate in presentations to executive management, governance committees and other stakeholders detailing relevant operational events and other risk management activities and initiatives.

  • Proactively contributes to the continuous review and evolution of the risk management framework in response to business and regulatory change, and drive implementation of change where needed.

  • Independently makes decisions on how to respond to external requests for information from existing or prospective clients and other financial intermediaries.

  • Performs, and in some cases, oversees other risk management activities and/or other special projects as needed.

  • Fosters collaboration with cross-functional teams, including business areas, Information Technology Group, Legal and Compliance, to perform risk management activities.

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
