We’re looking for an experienced Graphic Designer with strong layout and typography skills, ideally with experience working in a product company. We’re looking for someone who can think systematically, build design systems from scratch, manage their own workflow, and collaborate effectively within the Design team.
Some tasks will require working within an existing visual style, with care and consistency.
But you’ll also have plenty of opportunities to create new visuals as our company continues to grow and explore new directions.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing both print and digital layouts
  • Working on the visual style for products and communications — from small social banners to design for our large annual conference, Evolve
  • Creating promotional visuals that stand out — social media graphics, cover images, presentations, ad banners
  • Building and maintaining our design system, and helping the team keep things visually consistent across all touchpoints
  • Designing branded assets, stickers, merch, and event materials
  • Creating storyboards and visual designs for video production
  • Doing technical design work (file prep, prepress, production specs, photo retouching, etc.)
  • Layout for books and long-form content
  • Helping with landing page design and visual layout in web projects

The skills you need:

  • Expert-level layout and typography skills (you know what optical margin alignment, vertical rhythm, microtypography, tracking vs. kerning vs. leading, OpenType features, justification tricks, typographic hierarchy mean and how to apply them well)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and experience with Figma
  • Strong sense of visual structure and consistency
  • Understanding of prepress and print production
  • Experience working with branding and design systems
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate — we value ideas, discussions, and teamwork
  • Experience designing marketing visuals and landing pages
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines

Bonus skills (nice to have, but not required):

  • Experience working on design for large events
  • 3D skills (for event mockups or video concepts)

Hiring process:

  1. Portfolio Review
  2. Paid Task - not overly complex, but crafted to show your eye for clean layouts and your ability to create eye-catching visuals
  3. Interview
